Our Story
Some companies begin in an attic or a garage; Royal Reesink began in a blacksmith’s workshop in Zutphen, the Netherlands. It was 1786, and Hendrik Reesink had decided to start a one-man business.
Today, Royal Reesink is a household name globally, and has evolved into one of the largest equipment suppliers internationally.
Agriculture Roots in Canada
Royal Reesink started its Canadian subsidiary Reesink Canada in 2018. Its current footprint in Canada consists of partnerships in AG equipment dealerships: Tingley’s Harvest Center in Saskatchewan and Alberta, genAG Inc. and Hepson Equipment in Manitoba. Most recently, Reesink announced a partnership with Lawson Sales Kubota Winnipeg.
We also run a wholesale operation that distributes European AG equipment throughout Canada. The AG equipment businesses carry high tech brands like CLAAS, Kubota, JCB, Spudnik, Agrifac, Elmer’s, Horsch and Agri-Spread.
Reesink Canada's Journey
Currently Reesink Canada is rolling out its strategic agenda to grow the business autonomously, but also through acquisitions in the AG, construction and turf care equipment business.
